I haven’t been posting it on facebook or twitter because I don’t want my brother to see lol but I miss him so much! He left on Saturday and he’ll be in LA until May 12 :( It’s so weird without him.. Everytime my mom tells me that she misses him I start crying!! HAHAHAH! It’s so homo LMAO. Now that he’s in Cali, I’ve started to realize how big a role my brother played in our lives. He was always the one who put gas in the cars, who bought us stuff from the bakery, he always called whenever we texted him or need something, he was my diet buddy and workout coach! He always dropped me off and took me to school and he was always the one there to listen to me vent.. The only person lately that I have been able to really tell ANYTHING to. It’s so weird like when I want to tell him something I can’t just call him up or go to his room :/ and the weirdest part is not waiting for him to come home at night.. Cuz honestly, I’m used to my brother not being around during the day cuz he likes to go out. But he always comes home by 11pm. And it’s so weird just knowing he’s not coming home anymore for a while… It’s probably gonna take some time to get used to. And it’s kinda hitting me now that my brother was one of my best friends. I’m really excited for him that he’s gonna experience independence and find a job soon and now is his chance to finally grow up and see the world on his own but we just miss him so much here.
Hope you’re doing good baby brother, love you <3

How do you stop listening to what other people say about you? Or how do you hear it and not let it affect you?

In The Source magazine’s November issue Drake explains why he doesn’t have any love for the modern day social media networks like Tumblr and Twitter.
On Tumblr:“I’m really scared for my generation, you know. The thing that scares me most is Tumblr. I hate what Tumblr has become. Because it like, it reminds me of those clique-y girls in high school that used to make fun of everyone else and define what was cool, but in five years, when you all graduate, that shit doesn’t matter. No one gives a fuck about that shit. Instead of kids going out and making their own moments, they’re just taking these images and living vicariously through other people’s moments. It just kills me. Then you’ll meet them and they’re just the biggest turkey in the world. They don’t actually embody any of those things. They just emulate. It’s scary man, simulation life that we’re living. It scares me.”On Twitter:“I’ll tell you, my biggest thing was, I remember, it was on twitter. I remember the day my mom was getting surgery and someone came on Twitter and they were like, ‘Yo, Drake, I hope your mom dies.’ You don’t really mean that.”
…Like, you know you’re going to see something bad. Out of 1000 compliments, it’s so crazy. It’s basically, like, when you used to sit there as a kid, and want to know what everyone is thinking. That’s your superpower. [Twitter is] knowing what everyone is thinking.”

Since yesterday I have been feeling horribly sick. I slept practically the whole day. But when I woke up, my heart melted when I saw this on my desk with a handwritten note from my brother (who I was not talking to because we got in a fight that morning)
I really love my family. Wouldn’t trade them for the world <3
